Who is the OG Clan on Xbox Live E-mail
Written by Warlok

Many communities have come out since the advent of the true OG clan that call themselves "OG". When this community's founders were trying to come up with the name and moniker we would use for our community, we did a lot of research to make sure we wouldn't use the same name or moniker as another community- a bit of homework we wish other gamers would also do.  So it has come to my attention that there needs to be a bit of who we are, and where we're from, floating in the interwebz. I want to give people a little something to find when they wonder to themselves, "Who is OG on xbox live?".

Most of our original members hail from the G.I. community, way back in the Halo 2 days. Issues and arguments between the leader of G.I. and a guy who used to game as "GI Orielly" caused a split in that clan. Orielly would leave with a small group of gamers and found the creation of a new clan called U.G.I. This would last for about 3 days, and eventually it would be settled that the new clan would be called U.E.G. United Extreme Gaming.

I have been playing Xbox Live for close to seven years. The first time I played Halo 2 online I knew I was done with my Playstation 2 for good. When the next generation consoles came out, I bought an Xbox 360 and a Wii. While I love my Wii, the lack of online communication and horrible graphics has Nintendo's cute little system riding pine. The Playstation 3 seemed like a $600 DVD player to me when it came out. As you have probably realized, Microsoft's lack luster console has taken up all of my video game time. Which for some people, isn't a problem. I however think that replacing my console five times in the last four years due to hardware problems is ridiculous...

Cheaters! Gotta hate 'em. E-mail
Written by Jared

In the world of online gaming, nothing makes gamers more angry than a cheater. There are people who modify the game or hack the servers, some just do it for fake brags on the leaderboards. Thankfully Xbox Live has has protection against most of them. While protecting against modding and hacking, they have done nothing to protect us from the connection manipulators. If you have played on Xbox Live, chances are you have played against some little jackass with a standby button on their modem as well as software to bridge host. Some use their firewall to lag people out to the point where you can barely walk, much less accurately shoot an enemy who is "ice skating" the lag.

You want a shooter that doesn't constantly have a shit connection??? E-mail
Written by XZ3ROorDieX

Well I suggest you get acquainted with the GRAW series which is entirley produced by ubisoft. Falling under the Tom Clancy series GRAW is a very tactic based shooter that requires more communication and cooperation than any other game. Another primary reason why I am advising you guys to get a little background knowledge on the gameplay is because the new installment into the series is going to be dropping sometime between fall or holiday season this year...
